The Cell has demonstrated the recovery of saleable ferrous sulphate from discarded pickling effluents.

Effluents reduced considerably:
- By adoption of Drag-out/Reduction techniques
- Provision of nozzle in front of Rinsing pipe.
- Use of Inhibitors/Foaming agents for fumes reduction.

Ferrous sulphate recovered: : 2 to 2.5 tonnes/month
