4. Industrial training of Engineering Students
INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
The Council has been imparting training to the students of various engineering colleges since past two years. These students are exposed to processes in various industries like rice shellers, brick kilns, re-rolling mills and stone crushers etc. so as to get a feel of industrial problems. The students also undertake specific design problems relating to these industries. Besides familiarizing them with the problems and finding economical solution for the same they are imparted training to develop computer programmes for designing important unit operations in chemical and environmental engineering. The Council is also exploring the possibilities of interacting with all other universities and technical institutions for similar work.
MASTERS THESIS PROGRAM
The council offers live projects for the students who are pursuing their masters in environmental and chemical engineering as their thesis topics. Students interested may contact Additional Director (Environment) at the Councils address.
