13. Demonstration of Low cost sanitation and low cost soak pit technologies

The project was taken up by Zila Parishad, Patiala with financial help of CAPART. The technology was demonstrated in some villages of Patiala Division under the supervision and monitoring of Thapar Polytechnic. However, the technology did not find much favour in Punjab.
