10. Understanding Planet Earth

      The year 2007 has been declared as International Year of Planet Earth by IUGS and UNESCO in lying with this RVPSP, DST, GOI has initiated a number of activities to create awareness about Planet Earth.  Under this PSCST has launched a website www.understandingplanetearth.in to create awareness amongst matters concerning the planet.  In addition outreach programmes are being organized by all state Councils and voluntary organizations in the form of activities like Eco run, rallies, lectures, exhibitions and posters.
