6. Mapping of S&T Needs – Inventorization and Documentation of Location Specific Problems Requiring Scientific/Technical Interventions in Punjab:

To identify and map the problems requiring S&T interventions in Punjab, DST, GOI had sanctioned this project for an amount of Rs. 10.54 lacs. In this project, mapping of S&T needs of Punjab were depicted  in digital format using GIS application for locating problem areas, status of development in the area, identification of S&T input needed in different sectors, areas having common problems, identification of thrust areas and suggested remedies. The draft report has been sent to DST, GOI.
