Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre for Micro, Small and
Medium Enterprises of Punjab
Intellectual Property
Facilitation Centre for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises
has been set up in the existing Patent Information Centre of
PSCST in August, 2009 by the Ministry of Micro, Small and
Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India under the National
Manufacturing Competitiveness Program (NMCP) in collaboration
with Technology Information, Forecasting & Assessment Council
(TIFAC), Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India
and Govt. of Punjab to enable this sector to improve its
competitiveness in the domestic and global market. MSMEs are
not very well informed about the potential benefits of using
Intellectual Property (IP) assets in their business strategy

identity. IPFC provides technical and legal support to
industrialists and grass root innovators in patent search,
